1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SmileDesign service (the "Service"), operated by Smilematrix AI LLC ("we", "us"), and available at app.smilematrix.ai/smiledesign. By using the Service or purchasing an image unlock, you agree to these Terms. The Service is offered alongside, and under the same corporate policies as, the smilematrix platform — the general smilematrix Terms and Privacy Policy apply to the extent not modified here.

2. What the Service Is — Illustrative Purpose Only; No Medical or Dental Advice

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate a modified version of a photograph you upload, visualizing an improved smile. The generated image is a cosmetic, illustrative visualization for entertainment and inspiration purposes only. It is NOT a medical or dental prediction, diagnosis, treatment plan, or advice, and it does not represent an achievable clinical outcome. Always consult a licensed dentist or physician about your dental health and any treatment.

3. Your Photo and Generated Content

You must own or have the right to use any photo you upload, and it must depict you or a person who has given you permission.
Do not upload photos of minors, or unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.
Uploaded photos and generated images are stored on our servers to operate the Service (processing, delivery, support, and abuse prevention). You may request deletion at any time via the contact below.
Upon payment, you receive a personal, non-commercial license to download and use your generated image.

4. Payment and Delivery

Generating a preview is free within the daily limit. The full-resolution image is unlocked with a one-time payment shown at checkout (currently $2 USD per image), processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
Delivery is immediate upon payment: the full-resolution image becomes viewable and downloadable in your browser, and a copy is sent to the email address provided at checkout.
Prices may change at any time; the price shown at checkout is the one that applies.

5. Refunds

Because the unlock delivers digital content immediately, all sales are final once the image has been made available to you. If a technical failure prevents delivery (you paid but did not receive the image), contact us and we will re-deliver it or refund the payment in full. Dissatisfaction with the AI's aesthetic result is not a delivery failure — the free blurred preview exists so you can decide before paying.

6. Fair Use and Availability

The Service has a daily request limit per user. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, and may refuse service in cases of abuse (including automated or bulk use).

7. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated results vary and may contain artifacts or inaccuracies. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Smilematrix AI LLC arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected image unlock.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
